Join us for the City of Everett’s 4th annual G.I.R.L.S. Day where young women will participate in fun activities and learn about careers in public safety!The City of Everett, in partnership with Alliance Security, Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc., Everett Fire Department, Everett Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, State Police Association for Massachusetts, and Tufts University Department of Public Safety, is pleased to announce G.I.R.L.S. Day 2025!
G.I.R.L.S. stands for Grit, Intelligence, Resilience, Leadership, and Strength. Through this event, the goal is to empower Everett youth girls from ages five to 14 years old to explore these typically male-dominated careers as options for them too.
Young women will participate in activities like mock crime scene investigations, visits to the fire house, physical exercises, finger printing, obstacle courses, and so much more.
