About this Event
Ghost writing is a foray into another world, where the voices on the page might not be yourS... Who wrote it? What does it want? And what was that noise behind the curtain?
Explore the unknown: from unknown secret writers to forgotten voices, from words that arrive from somewhere else to the things we cannot quite explain. Ghost writing asks what happens when we give up control of the pen.
The session is underpinned by LISTENING as the key element. Alongside this we will experiment with inhabiting the lives and voices of others, as well as trance writing and meditation.
Participants are encouraged to each submit a piece þf work, poetry or prose, of 300 words or fewer, four days in advance of the session.
About the Workshop Series
Spooky things are coming to SWAMP!
Join creatives from SP Square CIC as we create ghost buddies, cast spells and rob graves for inspiration. These four workshops are designed for people of all experiences and abilities to conjure their creativity and make a mess with confidence.
These sessions are delivered by trained artists and writers from Stravaig Creative Arts and Glasgow's City of Poets.
