10-12 Market Buildings is a grade 2 listed building and its history shows it has been a few different businesses since its doors first opened in the early 18th century. The building is spread out across four floors, with different activity reported on them. The current businesses that occupies the building are a hairdresser and a tattoo studio.
In the hair salon, there are local rumors of a young lady simply known as “the harpers ghost” as well as strange bangs reported in the basement. This area is particularly eerie in the building and where we conduct our seances.
Upstairs in the tattoo studio, adorning the walls and shelves, is a collection of artefacts and collectibles from various ages and cultures around the world. There has been reports of pictures jumping off of the walls for no obvious reason, an ex staff member has reported seeing a cup move around in the kitchen area one morning on its own, a phantom smell of tobacco has been reported moving about the studio and disembodied footsteps are heard on the stairs, with E.V.P captures reported to be good here as well.
