Join us for a day of learning about the benefits of native grassland habitat in Pennsylvania. In the morning, presentations will cover benefits of grassland habitat, management techniques, and resources to help manage habitat. In the early afternoon we will conduct a field walk of a recently restored native grassland habitat on site.
Parking at the center is limited, if overflow parking is needed, speak with an organizer of the event. Please do not park in the restoration area. The event is free to the public. For questions contact Patrick Grunwald at [email protected]
If you plan to attend the field walk, please bring water and dress for the weather. Expect to walk through areas of high grass, please be tick cognizant.
This event is made possible through a partnership with the Pennsylvania Game Commission with support from the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
