Created in collaboration with one of Singapore’s most celebrated singer-songwriters, Sezairi, this special Zoetrope Post-a-Record is made for the month of Valentine’s, and for broken hearts that still believe in beauty.
The record features Sezairi performing “Yesterday”, a track from his latest album The Art of Surrender, recorded in a raw, intimate single take: just his voice, the piano, and a vintage red telephone from 1970s Singapore. A love letter that feels deeply personal and distant, just like yesterday.
As the record spins, watch through your phone camera as the telephone and broken hearts come to life, looping endlessly, like a call you weren’t ready to hang up.
