About this Event
Join Get Konnected! in partnership with State Street, NAAAP, The Asian Community Fund, DiasporaMass, and Commonwealth Seminar for an extraordinary evening of cultural celebration and community bonding as we honor two significant occasions: Lunar New Year and Black History Month.
Every year for the last 17 years, Get Konnected! and our partners have hosted Boston’s Most Influential Men of Color, Asian American and Pacific Islanders, and other niche lists highlighting and recognizing the talented individuals in the Boston Community. This year, we will continue our tradition by honoring six impactful organizations (three Black-led and three Asian-led nonprofits) for their outstanding service to our communities, and announcing the inaugural Cross-Cultural Champion Award, recognizing an individual who tirelessly builds bridges across cultural lines.
Our event will additionally feature a Fireside Chat from featured speakers.
In the past, we have had Michelle Wu, Mayor of Boston, Reshma Kewalramani, CEO and President of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Julie Kim, President of Takeda’s U.S. Business Unit and Country Head, Lee Pelton, President of the Boston Foundation.
