About this Event
In partnership with SAIT and Skills for Change, a google.org funded organization, we are excited to help greater Calgary area youth aged 18-24 with a high school diploma adopt AI into the workplace. Individuals aged 25 and older are also welcome to attend; however, priority registration will be given to youth ages 18–24.
Location: SAIT (Macdonald Hall)
Attendees can expect to:
- Learn how to apply practical AI skills in the workplace and become a valued hire for businesses and non-profits
- Work on an industry project with a team of other participants and present a solution to a business or non-profit
- Collaborate with peers and get hands-on to solve real world industry problems
- Receive a certification of completion
Additional Details:
- Participants who meet the age requirement, who attend the full-day bootcamp and successfully complete the assigned project will receive a $100 honorarium in recognition of their time, commitment, and engagement. **
- Participants will need to provide their own laptop.
- Free lunch provided
- Public transportation support is available. Additional details will be shared at a later date.
