LSES President Professor Emeritus Janet Lord, the University of Birmingham will give out lecture tonight.
With advancing age comes an increased risk of a range of diseases with consequences for the individual and the NHS. Professor Lord has played a leading role in promoting a new approach to health in old age, Geoscience, which aims to treat the aging process in order to prevent disease.
Visitors are welcome to attend for a small fee of £8 (cash on the night please). Seating is on a first come first serve basis. Members are given priority.
