Uplevel your downward-facing dog alongside fluffy four-legged friends. This donation-based event partners with and benefits CHAMP Assistance Dogs to support their work in our community. Two therapy dogs trained through this special local organization will join us in the studio to add a playful, calming vibe to our gentle movement.Proceeds of this event will help raise funds for CHAMP’s (Canine Helpers Allow More Possibilities) mission to secure, place, and train service dogs for multiple purposes: to help people with disabilities enjoy greater independence; to support facilities like courthouses, prisons, advocacy centers, and healthcare hubs; and to educate the general public about the value of service animals. CHAMP’s Therapy Dog program delivers free therapy dog visits to hospitals, schools, elder care facilities, libraries and more.
This event welcomes yogis of all skill levels, especially beginners. It’s sure to be the perfect blend of relaxation and a great cause. Plus, you’ll learn about volunteer opportunities through CHAMP — training your personal dog as a therapy dog, becoming a puppy raiser, whelper helper and more.
Representatives from CHAMP Assistance Dogs will be on-site to answer any questions on the day of the event.
