Genital Portrait Drawing - an embodied art workshop

In this workshop, you are both the model and the artist. This is a guided, embodied art experience exploring our relationship to our own and others' genitals through reflection, witnessing, and drawing, in a non-sexual, respectful, and contained setting.

The focus is not on artistic skill or the finished image, but on the process: noticing sensations, thoughts, emotions, and what it feels like to see and be seen. We approach the genitals as unique and meaningful body parts, inviting curiosity rather than judgment.

The workshop includes:

• Guided somatic and reflective practices
• Drawing exercises (no prior experience needed)
• Clear agreements around consent, boundaries, and respect
• A calm, grounded group atmosphere

This is not an art class in the traditional sense, and not a sexual space. It is an exploration of embodiment, perception, and presence through drawing.

Marat (they/them) is a psychological counsellor, educator, and visual artist based in Berlin. Their work focuses on embodiment, personal and social transformation, and creating spaces that support consent, self-awareness, and meaningful connection.

For the past 7 years, they have facilitated workshops on embodiment, intimacy, and self-development, drawing from somatic practices, systemic perspectives, Gestalt, and art-based approaches. Marat’s facilitation style is grounded, relational, and attentive to both individual and collective processes.
