GENGIS DON - Ode to The Drummers of Yesterday

Gengis Don is a producer and artist who makes music from instinct. Growing upin Brooklyn, he learned to hear the city’s pulse and turn it into sound. In his world, lyrics and melody share the same breath. Every beat is a story, every chord a conversation. Hip hop and jazz guide him, not as rules, but as ways tospeak the universal language of feeling. At just 30, he has collaborated with renowned artists including Solange, Bilal, ASAP Ferg, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Marquis Hill, Christopher McBride, Pink Siifu, Phoelix, Standing on the Corner, Klein, keiyaA, Melanie Charles, Anna Wise, Mavi, Braxton Cook, and many others.

Where is parking located?

Parking is located under the building, accessible from west of the building off of 1st St. between Bunker Hill Towers and the mini-shopping center AU LAC is in.

Once you’ve turned into the large driveway, turn left into the garage “Guest Parking and Residence Parking of The Promendade”. $12 CASH ONLY.

Additional parking is located directly across Hope St. at Disney Hall - 111 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012. $10.

There is limited street parking in front of Au Lac, Disney Hall and The Music Center.
