Hear ye, Hear ye, Come to Leffingwell House on April 18 for the 2026 Season Opening and a visit with General George Washington. The day begins at 11am with cannon fire commemorating the “Shot heard around the World’ at Lexington, followed by Flag raising by Norwich Scouts. Enjoy a visit with General George Washington , discover why he visits Norwich and his future plans in the conflict with the British. View a display of Washington historic artifacts. Have a taste of delicious Colonial Chocolate by Pewter Pot Fine Spiced Chocolate. On the museum grounds, interact with Living History Presenters in the Lebanon Militia-crafters & camp lifestyle, the Kings Loyal Americans (the Loyalists) and make a purchase from the colonial sutler-Big Bear Trading Company. Will there be a confrontation between the Loyalists and the Militia?? Come and find out. Experience History at Leffingwell! 11am-3pm, $8
