Revolutionary War historian and re-enactor John E. F. Misenheimer, II will bring to life the American Revolutionary War involvement of Patriot Army Gen. Nathanael Greene, Commander of Southern Forces, against Gen. Charles Cornwallis and how the two battles of Cowpens and Kings Mountain turned the tide toward the success of the cause of liberty.Mr. Misenheimer is President of the Lt. Colonel John Phifer Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, Treasurer and Past Chairman of the Board of the Historic Cabarrus Association. In 2006, Misenheimer was named N.C. Historian of the Year by the N.C Society of Historians.
Ed Niven will portray a soldier of the British Army Regiment known as Fraser's Highlanders.
