Mike Baxter, Professor in the History Department at Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, NC and local archaeologist, discusses The Battle of King's Mountain with a focus on the local people from present day Lincoln and Gaston Counties that fought at the battle. In particular, he will focus on the South Fork Boys. FREE to the public. No registration required. Reservations suggested for organized groups. Recommended for adults and teens.
