Gemini Springs Bike and Hike
About this Event
The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to join Environmental Specialist Tommy Nordmann on a bike and hike expedition at Gemini Springs. Participants will enjoy a short, two-mile (4-mile round trip) bike ride on the paved Spring-to-Spring trail from Gemini Springs Park to the Gemini Springs Conservation Area. Here, you will park your bikes and take a guided 1.6-mile hike through the conservation area, identifying native plants and animals in this wetland habitat.
In honor of National Public Lands Day 2026 on September 26, this program is being done in collaboration with the St. Johns Riverkeeper "Protect Our Public Lands Passport Challenge." To learn more about the challenge and sign up for your digital passport, visit Protect Our Public Lands Passport - St. Johns Riverkeeper.
** Important note: Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program. Waivers can be downloaded at Explore Volusia and completed ahead of time.
** After entering Gemini Springs Park, continue straight towards the old house and barn. Make a right at the "T" in the road and park in the west parking lot. We'll meet there to unload our bikes and sign waivers.
