GCC: Nature Center Trail Planting Plot Preparation

Join the Greenbelt Conservation Corps as we prepare a site that will be planted this fall.  Activities may include:  removing invasive vegetation, removing woody debris, leveling/evening the contour of the site, measuring the site, installing fencing, and more.  This project is a great way to gain experience and have a sneak preview of our City of Forest Day project.

Additional instructions for participants: Dress appropriately for working outside in the weather conditions.  Boots or sneakers are required.  Long sleeves and pants are recommended.  Bring a snack and water.  Community service credit available.
