Join Emmy-winning filmmaker Gayle Kirschenbaum for the launch of Bullied to Besties, her powerful memoir of forgiveness. With psychologist Dr. Pamela Thompson and Gayle’s 102-year-old mother, Mildred—centenarian and beloved social media influencer.
Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Gayle will also sign copies of her book.

- Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of the featured event book or any product in our café the night of an event.

- The talk will be followed by a book signing. Books signed at P&T Knitwear events must be purchased from P&T Knitwear.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Gayle Kirschenbaum is an Emmy-winning filmmaker, photographer, writer, and coach. Her film LOOK AT US NOW, MOTHER! premiered on Netflix and has been credited with transforming lives. Her TED talk is “No More Drama with Mama.” Gayle co-authored MILDRED’S MINDSET: WISDOM FROM A WOMAN CENTENARIAN with her mother, centenarian influencer Mildred Kirschenbaum. Her film A DOG’S LIFE: A DOGAMENTARY premiered on HBO. Gayle and her work have been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Shondaland, The Ethel (AARP), and on national television. BULLIED TO BESTIES: A DAUGHTER’S JOURNEY TO FORGIVENESS is her debut memoir. Publisher's Weekly calls it "a mesmeric memoir... more than a story of trauma–riveting and beautifully wrought."

ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Dr. Pamela Thompson is a clinical psychologist and the founder of Building Bridges to Better Lives, her private practice since 2004. She has worked with individuals, couples, groups, and trauma survivors since 1996. Dr. Thompson is the author of Surviving Mama, a guide for adult daughters healing difficult mother-daughter relationships. She appears in the documentary Look At Us Now, Mother! and the memoir Bullied to Besties as the therapist who helped facilitate a pivotal breakthrough between Gayle and her mother.
