GAY BAKE! Open Hearth Baking Day at the Old Stone House

Try your hand at baking in our wood-burning outdoor hearth! You can bring any dish or recipe (from bread to chicken, from cookies to pie) and cook it in the outdoor wood-fired oven!

Hearth Master, Angel Martinez Lombardo, will be tracking the oven temperature and managing the flow of cooking. 12-2 PM the oven is HOT! Good for flatbreads and pizza. 2-4 PM the oven comes down to around 400˚ good for meat, veg, and baked goods.

Pick a time-range and register. Keep in mind, when it gets busy there may be a wait. Registering is really helpful to keep wait times down.

You don't have to share what you bake, but you will find many willing taste-testers! Kids are welcome and generally have a great time. Non-bakers are also welcome to come hang out and volunteer for taste-testing duty. Yum!

The event is outdoors so please dress for the weather.

The event is free, but there is a suggested donation of $10 to the Old Stone House. The fund goes to firewood, fire-tools, cookware, and maintaining the hearth. Thanks!
