Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Buffalo Bill Reservoir and the stunning Shoshone National Forest, this USAT-certified event is a must-attend for triathletes from across the region.
Whether you’re an experienced competitor or tackling your first triathlon, the Gates of Yellowstone provides a challenging yet rewarding experience while immersing you in the unparalleled beauty of the American West. This year, we’re excited to offer three race distances:
Sprint: 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
Olympic: 1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run
Half Distance: 1.9km swim, 90km bike, 21.1km run
