Emails and voicemail messages will be answered during hotline hours. Penn State Master Gardeners provide research-based information to residents and home gardeners to identify and diagnose a variety of residential garden problems. Penn State Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who support the outreach mission of Penn State Extension by utilizing unbiased research-based information to educate the public and our communities on best practices in sustainable horticulture and environmental stewardship. Topics include botany, plant diseases, soils, fertilizers, composting, integrated pest management, entomology, plant propagation, indoor plants, vegetable gardens, lawn care, pruning ornamental plants, tree fruit, small fruit, woody ornamentals, herbaceous plants, native plants, weeds, and invasive plants.
