Get ready for the fall and celebrate the great outdoors at the 45th annual Game Fair! The premier outdoor family event returns to the spacious 80 acres of woods and water on the Armstrong Ranch in Ramsey, Minnesota for two action-packed weekends: August 7, 8, 9 and August 14, 15, 16, 2026.
Inspired by a similar event held annually in England, Chuck and Loral I Delaney started America’s original Game Fair in 1982. This year, the six-day festival marks its milestone 45th anniversary under the continued leadership of 92-year-old founder Chuck Delaney. His family is also celebrating a centennial of ownership of the Armstrong Ranch Kennels that has been in continuous operation since Loral I’s father Fred Armstrong opened it in 1926.
Game Fair is a full participation event where visitors are encouraged to bring the entire family along with the dog (leashed), shotgun (cased), or bow (cased). Game Fair features hundreds of exhibitors from across the country showcasing the latest and greatest outdoor gear, dog products, travel opportunities and more.
Highlights of the 2026 Game Fair include:
Expert Shotgun Instruction–Trapshooting Hall of Famer Nora Ross will host a trapshooting and youth/women’s shotgun shooting clinic each day.
Trickshooting Show–Professional exhibition shooter Travis Mears will perform a shotgun exhibition shooting show twice per day.
Doggy Parade and Games–See the wide variety of dog breeds in the daily doggy parade, watch the amazing speed and skills of the agility dogs, and see dogs participate in a variety of doggy games. Your dog can participate in the doggy games as well.
Wildlife Art & Taxidermy–Amazing taxidermy work on display and vote for your favorite, alongside live wood carving and art demonstrations showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship of outdoor heritage arts.
Daily Seminars–Learn from the best with numerous daily seminars from national outdoor experts, covering topics like dog training and hunting skills.
Fantastic Fair Food–Come hungry and get your fill of delicious fair food including sweet corn, battered walleye, buffalo burgers, corndogs, mini donuts, gyros, fresh squeezed lemonade and tons more! Bring cash or use one of the on-site ATMs for convenient purchasing.
