Gallery Talk with Marilynn Cowgill and Katie Truk

Both presentations are a part of the Community Engagement Series accompanying the exhibition at New Hope Arts.

Marilynn Cowgill presents "The Search for Beauty: My Journey in Weaving" which will include discussions of beauty, where is it found, and how it informs handwoven cloth.

Katie Truk presents "Katie Truk: Wandering with Pantyhose." The most common question that Katie Truk gets is, how did she start creating art with pantyhose? The follow up question is why? Truk answers these questions as well as dives into a little history about her favorite material and what inspires her pieces.
