Join legendary regional sculptor Judy Onofrio for a gallery talk in her exhibition, Deep Dive, and learn more about her processes, inspirations, and life’s work. This is a seated gallery talk and assistive listening devices will be used.
Space is limited to 25 people, and registration is required.
"Judy Onofrio: Deep Dive" will be on view on June 29, 2024 - January 5, 2025. Rochester, Minnesota’s Judy Onofrio creates larger than life sculptures that are covered with collaged bones, glass orbs, thousands of beads, and intricate glass mosaics. Her Baroque flourishes celebrate life’s color, matching perfectly with her sense of humor and creative spirit. It is through her accumulative process that Judy continues to push the boundaries of art and craft, especially how she shares the history that objects contain. The ambitious works in Deep Dive are inspired by underwater flora and fauna, while reflecting on her childhood and earliest memories of living near the ocean.
