Gaelic Family Fun at Murton Farm!

An event for families with an interest in Gaelic. Gaelic Bookbug, storytime for primary children, a mud kitchen, toys and a treasure hunt!
About this Event

This event will take place outdoors in the tipi area of Murton's Nature Reserve, regardless of the weather - suncream or waterproofs may be required!

Please encourage children to take part in the organised activities. It would be great to have the older ones take part in our Bookbug session to help the little ones with the songs! We'll then have storytime aimed at those who have a bit more Gaelic with a lucky dip gift at the end! There will be plenty of time for free play and socialising, but not before we find the treasure!

This event will take place at Murton Farm's tipi area. Please note that entry to the farm area is not covered by this Eventbrite ticket. If you wish to explore the farm afterwards (which we highly recommend!), tickets can be bought from the tearoom or using the QR code signs at the entrance gate. The tipi is located within the nature reserve which is free to explore, with a route that loops around this area for anyone who fancies a beautiful walk! There is plenty of parking at Murton Farm. If you face the tearoom from the carpark you will turn right (passing the green cabin on your left) to get to the tipi. There should be a sign there to guide you.

This event has been funded by our group (Comann nam Pàrant Angus) which consists of parents who are keen to ensure our children get opportunities to hear and use Gaelic in fun, social settings! Please follow us on www.facebook.com/cnampangus/

Some snacks will be available. Parents are responsible for helping their children select appropriate food. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements in the booking form and we will do our best to make sure we have something suitable for everyone.

We understand that changes to plans are often unavoidable (especially when children are involved!). If you can no longer attend the event, even at last minute, PLEASE inform us so we can offer the space to someone else.
