FWAS, Foster Park Bird Outing

Join Jean Ferguson, FWAS bird outing leader and director at large, for this group activity where wheelchair accessible paved trails are an option and so is stepping off the path for a closer look or listen. You'll find nearby benches to sit and rest on this "out and back" format. There are no restrooms at Foster Park. This is also a great outing for anyone who enjoys or relies on birding by ear, as Jean is well known for her skill at bird identification by sound. Beginning and experienced birders will enjoy this outing as this linear trail attracts many migrants thanks to a small stream and wooded canopy. The park is located at Trail Lake Dr. in south Fort Worth. The event usually lasts 1.5 - 2 hours. Dress for the current weather conditions, and bring water and snacks if wanted.
