Join us for the first workshop in the Futures Lab byStudents course series!
WHAT IS FUTURES LAB bySTUDENTS?
Futures Lab is an evening school teaching you to use creative systematic thinking to approach and influence the future.
Through group-based case work you will gain experience in developing a future-proof solution to a specific problem faced by a company or organization as an example of how we can address the societal challenges we face today.
Based on presentations and supervision from experts in Futures
Studies, you will learn to think in terms of possible, probable, and preferred future scenarios and identify opportunities and risks associated with the future you explore.
Through Futures Lab you will strengthen your Futures Literacy: the ability to envision the future in different ways, critically assess dominant perceptions of the future, and constructively engage with opportunities and challenges.
WHEN?
We'll meet twice a month on Wednesay evenings during the spring semester from late February to May.
ABOUT US
The course series is developed in collaboration between @byStudents and @Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies with financial support by @Tuborgfonden and Knud Højgaard Fonden. CIFS is a leader in futures research with their practice-oriented work as an independent nonprofit think tank. byStudents is behind the Student House on Købmagergade and engages volunteers in Actory among other initiatives.
