Fused Glass Pansy

Ever wish you could create your own cottage core style garden? Maybe you feel as though your garden, greenspace, or even your indoor spaces (or window) need a bit more whimsy? This workshop will show you how to create your very own fused glass pansy, with its own display stand. Using frit and provided glass you will be guided on how to cut glass, follow a pattern and the basic techniques of fusing glass.

You'll create one fused glass pansy. All tools, materials, and equipment will be supplied.

For safety reasons, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn. Please be aware that grinders will be used in this class, making noise that some participants find uncomfortable. Limited noise protection will be available, and participants are encouraged to bring their own protection for maximum comfort.

After the workshop the glass will be kiln-fired and assembled. You will be able to pick up your finished artwork at the Canvas & Clay storefront.

Skill level: Intermediate, following a pattern is challenging.

Ages: 10+
This is a family-friendly event. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
