We’ve been searching for a new venue to host “Knights & Pints” events for a while now, and a shout-out to Liam Kent for suggesting and making arrangements with the Slovak Legion!! On Saturday June 6th at 5:00pm, bring your chess set and come to the Slovak for a fun evening of casual chess games and socialising.
All players are welcome (under 19yrs are allowed until 9:00pm per Slovak rules).
They will have tables reserved for chess, and their kitchen is open until 9:00pm.
These events have been really fun for all who attend (more players = more fun), so don’t miss out!!
Note: the “East End bridge” may be closed for construction, so take the Main St (Harbour Expressway) bridge).
This event is open to everyone. If you’ve never come to chess club, but you like playing chess, come out for some otb (over the board) games… much more fun than playing on your phone!! 😂😂
