Fused Glass Bee Waterer

Begginner Friendly Intermediate Level workshop. Pattern included.

Welcome in Spring and gardening season with these lovely glass flowers. Make one 5" flower themed bee waterer with a copper garden stake. Invite natural pollinators such as bees into your garden through these beautiful fused glass flowers, just add a small amount of water and voila- bee paradise. If bees are not your cup of tea, these flowers are still beautiful additions to any garden simply empty any water that accumulates.

Choose one of 2 styles, pattern included. In this 2 hour workshop you will learn the basics of cutting glass, grinding glass and how to drill a hole in glass and we will be covering the basics of slumping. The intermediate skills include following a pattern and drilling holes in glass as well as the basics of slump firing. Experience is not necessary.

For safety reasons, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn.

**After the workshop the glass will be kiln-fired. You will be able to pick up your finished artwork at the Canvas & Clay storefront in approximately 2 weeks time

This is a family-friendly event. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
