Fungi Foray - Riddlesdown

This fun and educational fungi foray will introduce you to the wonderful world of fungi led by Jane McLauchlin. The walk will help you recognise some common species and maybe a few rarer ones too. Jane will also explain the important roles that fungi play in our local ecosystems.

This walk will be led at a leisurely pace to allow us to discover a wider variety of fungi across the meadows and woodlands at Riddlesdown. The walk will last approximately one and a half hours with some time to review our finds from the foray.

Things to know:

• Please wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for changing weather!
• Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a lead during the walk.
• There is parking available (Please pay when you arrive).
• Families and children welcome.
• £3 per person - your ticket will help towards the management and conservation of the four Coulsdon Commons and the South London Downs National Nature Reserve.
• We cannot refund tickets for this event however if there is a need to cancel due to high winds etc we will try to move to another date.
