Sophie d’Orléans:
Sophie d’Orléans’ music is warm and reassuring. Much like salted caramel, her (sweet) sense of harmony contrasts her witty (salty?) banter, creating a delightfully grounding musical experience. Trilingual, multi-instrumentalist and live looping artist, her feel-good live performance will keep you on the edge of your seat. When life leaves you feeling stuck, lost or burned out, Sophie’s upbeat folk will lift your spirits.
Jahmeema:
Jahmeema is a singer and songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario with various vocal influences such as Nina Simone, Erykah Badu, Queen & Stevie Wonder. She has a wide range (vocally and musically) and is set to take the world by storm. Rather than to be put in a box, she wishes to pave her own lane in the music industry, empower women, and connect with many audiences.
Malia Rogers:
As a Nova Scotian making home in Ontario, Malia Rogers' maritime upbringing has led her to see music, storytelling, and community as inextricably bound. Drawing inspiration from Canadian sirens like Feist and Rose Cousins, she cultivates an introspective and honest approach to songwriting, weaving her joys and vulnerabilities into self-soothing folk anthems with swelling harmonies and warm, grounded instrumentation. Her upcoming EP (Summer 2024) employs personal stories as inroads to big questions around love, loss, legacy, fear, anxiety, choice, and hope – all the while imploring listeners to stay curious and compassionate about their own histories. Through song and story, Rogers invites you into the corners of her heart the way she would invite you into her home on the East Coast: put down the heavy bags, rest, stay as long as you need, take something with you when you go.
