Ottawa Community Kirtan

Come join us for an evening of singing songs of praise and love. After you can grab yourself a cup of a warm beverage and chat with great souls.

There is no need to be a "good" singer. This is about the collective energy of group singing from our hearts.

Song sheets will be provided. Bring something to sit on if you wish to sit on the floor. There will be chairs and spots on couches available.

You are also welcome to bring hand drums or other percussive instruments to play along with us. ❤

Rebecca White Raven (voice and other instruments), Sraddha (voice and guitar), and Justine-Anjali (voice and harmonium) will be guiding you through this practice called kirtan, a practice of the heart.

There will also be other musicians that we invite to join us.

Our practice will be repeating mantras - repeated words of love, light and praise. By doing this, we have a way of meditating by concentrating on music, sound, and vibrations. This shall be a practice of the heart; all you need is receptiveness, a smile, and your beautiful presence.

This will happen the third Friday of each month.

Tickets are 20$ each if you purchase them through Eventbrite here (safest option in case we sell out)

And it's 25$ if you get them at the door, if there are tickets still available. (event will be marked as sold out if all tickets sell)

**note: No one will be turned away if they can't pay the ticket. Please inquire at the door for community tickets.**
