Help Support Janis Riedal's Fight Against Cancer!
Janis Riedal began her journey as a busser at Conrad's Seafood Restaurant just after her 15th birthday in May 2023. A dedicated student at Harford Tech, she was excitedly studying welding when life took an unexpected turn.
On August 9, after experiencing back pain and bruising, Janis was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS). Since then, she has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Currently, her lungs are healing, and she requires round-the-clock oxygen. The road ahead includes five more years of chemotherapy, which comes with overwhelming medical bills, hospital stays, everyday expenses, and the challenge of missed work.
Despite the struggles, Janis remains positive with her motto: "Girly, No Stress." She dreams of returning to work and pursuing her passions.
