In partnership with VAST, The Hubb Funding Network is an opportunity for people working in the third sector to come together to talk about everything to do with funding - from funding opportunities, fundraising, bid writing, evaluating and monitoring your funded projects, as well as connecting with local and national funding bodies. The network is open to anyone involved whether you are a Charity, a CIC, Resident or Faith Group, it is free and it’s a great way of connecting with other groups and sharing experiences.
In this session, we will be discussing the barriers and opportunities that organisations like yours often face when applying for funding – from the little things which can often catch you out in the application process, to the opportunities you may not realise are open to your organisation.
We’ll hear from speakers who have successfully applied for large-scale funding pots, discussing what they did to prepare, what they found difficult, and what they did to overcome barriers to access. We’d love to hear your funding stories – and, of course, there will be time to chat with peer organisations, to share tips and tricks, advice, and resources.
