MEETING POINT is just inside the main entrance on Cemetery Road at the Chapels building.

Discover the remarkable stories of the men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the First and Second World Wars who are buried in their community.

Hanley is one of several cemeteries in Stoke on Trent that contain CWGC graves, 123 casualties from World War One and 68 from World War Two.

Amongst the many graves is Battery Serjeant Major Thomas, still serving at the age of 65 and Betsy Gould serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service who died just 18. There are also men from Canada and New Zealand buried thousands of miles from home.

Parking neaby; no facilities or toilets; level ground.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
