This 8-week class builds scene skills, group performance skills, and explores forms beyond the montage.
About this Event

About this class:

Students will continue their growth from Fundamentals of Improv Level 2 to begin developing their own performance style and begin learning other forms beyond the Montage. By exploring a wide variety of improv skills, including game, character, walk-ons, tag-outs, openings, and callbacks, students will build a personal toolbox for their improv journey.

Each class session will run from 7:00pm-9:00pm ET, with optional time available after class to discuss and debrief.

Week 3 (January 27): Let's Get Game (Part II)
Week 4 (February 3): From Initiation to Scene to Callback
Week 5 (February 10): All Together Now
Week 6 (February 17): Finding a Form
Week 7 (February 24): Finding a Form (Part II)
Week 8 (March 3): Showcase Practice and Prep
Week 9 (March 10): Student Showcase!

This class is in-person, but Highwire Improv also offers online classes - check out our page for other offerings!

Prerequisites: Highwire Improv's Fundamentals of Improv Level 2, or equivalent training at another theater (email us at [email protected] if you have placement questions)!
