SG60 x Create with Me2: Art-Making with Heart and Heritage

Event Description:

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Me2 Centre of Inclusive Arts proudly launches the SG60 Campaign—a nationwide initiative that sponsors 60 individuals with disabilities across three signature programmes: Improv with Me2, Create with Me2, and Artist Development with Me2.

This Eventbrite listing is for Create with Me2, a vibrant, inclusive arts programme where participants explore their creativity through themes inspired by local food, beloved animals, and famous artists.

Using sensory-friendly methods, participants will enjoy hands-on art-making sessions that encourage self-expression, motor skills development, and cultural appreciation—all within a supportive and joyful environment.

What Participants Will Explore:
Drawing and painting local favourites like hokkien mee, curry fish head and ice kachang.
Art inspired by beloved animals
Learning about famous artists like through playful reinterpretation
Building confidence, imagination, and creative thinking through guided art activities

About SG60 Campaign:
To mark Singapore’s 60th year, we are sponsoring 60 participants with disabilities to experience the power of the arts in building life and vocational skills. This is our gift of inclusion, dignity, and possibility—one story and one artwork at a time.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Singaporean Individuals with disabilities 18 years old & above (PRs & Foreigners to self-pay)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder & Intellectual Disability (includes Down Syndrome)
  • Copy of NRIC of person(s) with disabilities
  • Proof of permanent disability of person(s) with disabilities [e.g. latest doctor’s memorandum, membership card of Social Service Agency Organisation (SSA) providing disability services recognised by SG Enable, Public Transport Concession Card (if any), and/or educational certificates from special education schools (if any)]
  • Family facing financial challenges (proof of orange or blue CHAS)

Date: 01/10/2025 to 19/12/2025 (Wednesdays and Fridays)
Time: 4pm – 5pm
Venue: 12 Hoy Fatt Road #04-01, Singapore 159506
Fee: FREE for 60 sponsored participants (Registration required)
