Fruitful Futures: Woodcuts by Gabe Wolfe and Ink Drawings by David Friedman

“Fruitful Futures” brings together work by Alberta Street Gallery members David Friedman and Gabe Wolfe, who use differing mediums and artistic visions to illustrate the rich understory of life.

Wolfe’s white-line woodblock prints are vibrantly colored and extoll the diversity of life, while underpinning the need to protect what is vital and precious.

Friedman has crafted shape-based black-and-white drawings of forest life that use small, interlocking forms to render a larger cohesive body, a nod to the complexity that lies within all living forms.

Fruitful Futures will be featured in the front windows of Alberta Street Gallery from February 26 through March 23, with an artists' reception on Last Thursday, February 26, from 6 to 9pm. Come join us and meet the artists!
