Frugal Foodies East Bay--Cinco de Mayo, One Day Later

Cinco de Mayo almost falls on a Tuesday this year, only 24 hours off, so what better time to celebrate the Battle of Puebla and eat—and drink—lots of incredible treats. California avocados will be featured in spades as will many cocktails. Plan to cook tamales, queso, elote, sopapillas, and more! And, of course, mas tequila!
