From Photo to Quilt
About this Event
Ever thought of quilting but didn’t know where to start? Is finding quilting supplies getting in the way of you and your new hobby?
Just bring yourselves to the Old Bakery and Emporium, where you will be provided with supplies and learn the step-by-step process used by quilt artist Annette Kennedy to create stunning pictorial quilts.
By the end of the workshop, you will learn how to turn photos into patterns, construct quilts using raw-edge fusing, and use fabric paint to add visual depth and detail!

About the Old Bakery & Emporium:
The Old Bakery & Emporium was built in 1876 by Swedish immigrant Charles Lundberg. Midsummer, or Midsommar, is a traditional Swedish holiday celebrating the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. The Old Bakery hosts Midsummer as a tribute to the building’s Swedish-American heritage.
