About this Event
As the bedrock of our culture, let's tackle Womxnโs mental health, using a healthy, multicultural environment, where marginalized cultures are centered, interdisciplinary arts practices are utilized to process and engage and social work support is available and encouraged as we spend a day together in the equality and structural resilience of the conversational crafting circles that have borne humanityโs oral history and have been as important to liberation as creating the quilts that held maps to the Underground Railroad. Positive possibilities for solutions to multiple contemporary challenges are set to emerge through our discourse and art created, dispelling patriarchal hierachal structures in exchange for respect for our mutual expertise and our diverse and accepting camaraderie.
