As the bedrock of our culture, let's tackle Womxn’s mental health in a multicultural environment where marginalized cultures are centered, interdisciplinary arts practices are utilized to process and engage, and social work support is available and encouraged as we spend a day together in the equality and structural resilience of the conversational crafting circles that have borne humanity’s oral history and have been as crucial to liberation as creating the quilts that held maps to the Underground Railroad. Positive possibilities for solutions to multiple contemporary challenges are set to emerge through our discourse and art created, dispelling patriarchal, hierarchical structures in exchange for respect for our mutual expertise and our diverse and accepting camaraderie.
There will be a men's track in addition to the all-genders/womxn's track. The stigma against emotions, let alone mental health needs, is greater for men. As men hold many leadership roles, neglecting to address these issues significantly affects all of us. Those men who choose to attend will have excellent arts workshops as well throughout the day, allowing safe self-expression at whatever level of comfort.

∙Meet the "SEA 2 Shining SEA" ART AUCTION Artists & bid on beautiful, hope-inspired affordable artworks curated by: Loretta Oberheim & Anu Annam
The theme is inspired by the "Glimmer Theory," which focuses on capturing the bright moments of beauty, hope, and connection within the every day, espousing the SEA of Visibility’s core principles of supporting our mental health through our arts, each other, and our perspective. We are excited to offer a platform for artists to showcase work that reflects these fleeting yet profound moments of insight and emotion.
The day’s events deepen the history of the land on which we live through art-making and conversation, putting truths into perspective, making us whole, in support of mental health.
