About this Event
From Naples to Paris: A Baroque Journey
Naples was the cradle of the baroque musical tradition, but Europe was the stage. Its story is one of courts, cathedrals and continents. From Valencia, where Spain held Naples in its grasp, to Bologna, back to Naples, through the court and salons of France and into Venice where Vivaldi reigned supreme, the journey ends full circle with an Italian master at the Spanish court in Madrid.
Join Spanish-Korean baroque cellist Hyunkun Cho and local harpsichordist Gerald Lim as they trace every step of this extraordinary voyage!
