This interactive session will cover the steps to setting up a social enterprise, deciding on the legal entity, the development of a board. The need for a More Than Profit® approach and for the development of multiple income streams for sustainability and growth.
Serial social entrepreneur and consultant Professor Kirsty Thomson-Gillespie has over 20 years of experience across charities, social enterprises, and purpose-led organisations. As a Professor in Practice at the University of Dundee's School of Business, she brings real-world experience in social entrepreneurship and impact-driven practice.
Over more than 14 years, Kirsty has founded, led, and grown multiple organisations, while also supporting hundreds of individuals and organisations through periods of start-up, scale, and transition.
Having navigated mergers, growth, and transition firsthand, she now supports leaders, boards, and organisations to build resilient, sustainable organisations that deliver lasting change through her consultancy, KTG Impact Associates.
