Led by Secrest Arboretum Curator, Jason Veil, this hike will feature a discussion of native trees and shrubs found at Wooster Memorial Park as well as in our gardens, landscapes, and streetscapes. Learn why many species (or cultivated varieties thereof) are horticulturally renowned while others remain commercially obscure.These group hikes are brought to you by Friends of Wooster Memorial Park and are free and open to the public. Event will begin at the Education Parking Area. Come prepared for the weather and to have a good time!
