In Person at First Lutheran Church in Duluth, MN and via Zoom Livestream
Our world today is filled with fear and anxiety; deeply concerning events occur that affect our lives and communities. The Easter Season begins in a place of fear and gloom but the news of the Resurrection starts sparking courage. We gather on April 18, in the middle of the Easter Season, to live into a Gospel courage; to proclaim that the fires of destruction do not have the final say; to burn with God’s fire of courage, justice, and new life, igniting community for a planet in peril.
The EcoFaith Summit is an annual gathering of people of faith and conscience that convenes to kindle courageous community across the Upper Midwest by sparking:
· an unquenchable fire of love for Creator and Creation;
· a controlled burn of holy fear, wonder, and joy - across generations and divides;
· a germinating fireseed of collaborative and creative networks.
The day includes two triads of inspiring speakers, action stations, afternoon engagement sessions, children’s programming, youth and young adult specific community time, table exhibits, group livestream experience guide, and networking time to equip disciples in congregations, camps, campuses and communities to respond to our planet in peril.
