From DAW to Studio: A Music Production Taster Session

Join us for a hands-on introduction to studying music production at ICMP. The session begins in one of our Mac production labs, where you’ll get an insight into how music is created and developed in a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). We’ll walk through a real production session, exploring how ideas are built, arranged and refined during the creative process.

In the second half of the session, we’ll move into our Audient studio suite to see how those ideas translate into a recording environment. You’ll be introduced to the studio workflow and learn how producers and engineers capture high-quality recordings using professional equipment.

This is a great opportunity to explore our facilities, see how our teaching spaces connect to real production practice, and get a taste of what it’s like to study music production at ICMP.
