About this Event
This edition of the Mozilla Morning event series, organised in partnership with , will shed light on the AI 'black box' and explore how to make content AI companies use to train their models more transparent.
The idea that 'data is the lifeblood of AI' is now an accepted truth but despite this general agreement, we still have limited knowledge of what content is used to train popular general-purpose AI models.
As the drafting process for the Code of Practice for general-purpose AI (GPAI) developers under the AI Act has kicked off, it is now upon the EU’s AI Office and participants to determine what the different AI Act’s provisions for GPAI developers should mean in practice. This process presents an opportunity to increase the transparency of the GPAI training data.
But who should care about the transparency of AI training data, and why? What are the potential risks to privacy, intellectual property, or competition if AI training data transparency is not handled carefully?
Speakers will be announced very soon.
We look forward to seeing you there!
