About this Event
Join us for our next Civic Networking Event as we showcase how the University of Portsmouth’s Faculty of Business and Law is working in partnership with organisations across the region to turn learning into real-world impact.
This session will highlight consultancy, student projects and community-facing initiatives that connect classroom knowledge with local business and civic needs.
What’s This About?
This event will introduce Portsmouth Business Support Service (PBSS), The Marketing Agency (TMA), and our wider student consultancy and project offer.
We’ll explore how organisations can collaborate with the University through applied student projects, consultancy opportunities, and partnership working that delivers tangible impact for businesses, charities and public sector organisations.
Whether you are already part of our Civic Network or curious about how to engage, this event is an opportunity to learn more and connect directly with project leads and academics.
What to Expect
10:00am – Refreshments and informal networking
10:30am – Joe Gamblin An introduction to Portsmouth Business Support Service (PBSS) and The Marketing Agency, highlighting how partnership working supports local organisations.
10:45am – Amy Doyle An overview of student consultancy and applied project opportunities within the University of Portsmouth.
11:00am – Roundtable discussions and open networking Meet academics and project leads to learn more about how to get involved, ask questions, and explore potential collaboration.
