Join us at FRINGE WORLD to discover the stories behind assumptions, challenge preconceptions, and "un-judge" someone at the Human Library Book Café. The Human Library® is a global movement for social change, and is exactly what it sounds like, a library of people! Our Books are real people from the community who have experienced prejudice, stigmatisation, or discrimination.
Readers will enter a respectful space where they can “borrow a Human Book”, listen to their personal stories, and ask questions with the aim to build understanding and “unjudge” someone. Sessions are 30 minutes with up to 4 Readers per Book. All of our Books are volunteers.
